• 760mic Solid Plastic Card – Crafted from solid plastic through for a premium, rigid finish.

• 760mic Transparent Solid Plastic Card – A clear, solid plastic card with a high-end, modern aesthetic.

While 850mic cards are thicker than 760mic, they are not made from solid plastic. The 760mic Solid Plastic Card feels sturdier and more premium, similar in thickness and rigidity to a standard credit or debit card. This is why, despite being thinner, the 760 mic solid plastic option is typically priced higher.

All cards are wallet-sized (86mm x 54mm) and can be customised further with magnetic stripes or signature panels, making them suitable for practical uses like hotel room keys or membership cards.

Technical Specifications for Plastic Card Printing

For double-sided CMYK printed PVC cards business cards with special finishing please supply your artwork as a 4-page PDF. Page 1 is the front of the artwork, page 2 is the back of the artwork, page 3 will be the Foiling artwork and page 4 should be blank.  If you are printing a one-sided PVC card with finishing, then a 2-page PDF is required where page 1 is the design and page 2 is the Foil artwork.

The Foil artwork should contain solid black shapes in the exact position where the Foil is required. Please ensure Foil artwork is a vector path, 100% black only and does not contain any cyan, magenta or yellow.

Please note: Foil application has registration tolerances of approximately ±0.5 mm. It is not, therefore, recommended that small text (10pt minimum) or thin lines (1pt minimum) are foiled as perfect register cannot be guaranteed. You should not represent your foiling artwork on the CMYK print artwork to eliminate any risk of misregistration of the foil. 

• Finished size is 86 x 54 mm (92 x 60mm with 3mm bleed) with a corner radius of 3 mm.

• Include 3mm bleed on all sides.

• Foiling cannot be placed outside of the 3 mm safe zone.

• Supply as a CMYK PDF, preferably in PDF/X1a format.

• Outline or embed fonts.

• 300dpi resolution.

• The minimum font size for Foiling elements is 10pt and line weights should be at least 1pt.
