A saddle-stitched booklet is a book made by folding sheets of paper together and securing them with staples (stitches) along the spine. It’s ideal for brochures, catalogues, guides, and other short publications

You can select different inner paper stocks and a heavier cover stock, and add lamination finishes such as matt, gloss, or soft touch. You can see specific stocks in the paper types drop-downs above.
Yes. Include a 3 mm bleed all around and keep important content at least 5 mm away from the trimmed edge to avoid it being cut off.
Yes, the total page count includes the covers. So, an 8-page booklet contains 6 inner pages and totals 8 with the cover. The cover comprises the outer front, outer back, inner leaf and penultimate page. Each leaf is fully printable.
Yes. When you upload your artwork with the File Check option, you can use an interactive proof to flip through a virtual version of your booklet and verify page order, layout, and content before printing.
Large print is entirely in your gift to give, simply make the font size as large as you like on your documents. We currently do not offer braille.
Our 40-point preflight check is an automated artwork inspection that runs when you upload a print-ready file using the Just Print service. It quickly scans your PDF for key technical issues and either fixes or flags common problems so your file is ready for printing. The check includes verifying file type and size, checking for corrupt or password-protected files, ensuring fonts are embedded, converting colours to CMYK, setting trim and bleed boxes, adjusting line weights, flattening layers and transparencies, correcting orientation and scaling errors, reducing excessive ink coverage, down-sampling very high-resolution images, and more. If something can’t be fixed automatically, you’ll be notified to correct it before printing
A saddle-stitched booklet contains 8-64 pages and must have a total page count that is divisible by four (e.g. 8, 12, 16 pages) because of how they are folded and stitched.
Artwork should be supplied as a single multi-page PDF with pages in correct running order from front cover through to back cover. Don't forget your 3mm bleed.
