Our Case Bound Sample allows you to order a single hardback booklet using your own supplied artwork. Each copy is produced to order using the same high-quality materials and finishes as our full production runs, giving you a clear sense of how your final product will look and feel. It’s the perfect way to review print quality, construction, and finish before committing to a larger order.

How It Works

Place an order for one sample case bound booklet using your chosen specifications.

Once your order is placed, you’ll receive a £60 discount code via email. This will arrive in a separate message from your order confirmation, typically within 10 minutes.

You can use this code on your next order of Case Bound Booklets, with a minimum order value of £300. The discount code is valid for three months from the date it is issued.

Please note that the discount code will only be supplied for your first sample order.

Paper Stocks

• Choose from gloss, silk or uncoated inner paper options.

Cover Finish

• Add gloss or matt lamination for added protection and a premium look.

Tip: Lamination is recommended for covers with heavy ink coverage to help prevent scuffs during handling and delivery.

Binding Method

• Case binding uses a rigid hardback cover with pages securely fixed using strong PUR adhesive. This creates a durable square spine designed to withstand frequent handling over time — perfect for high-quality business publications.

Technical Specifications for Hardback Books

Artwork Submission:

Submit artwork as two files:

Outside Cover Page:

• Submit as a spread including the spine, hinge, and wrap around.

• Download our templates for bleed, safe zone, and wrap around requirements.

• Use our spine width calculator for the correct spine size.

Inner Pages:

Submit as individual pages in running order.

• Example: For a booklet with 40 inner pages, supply an inner PDF of 40 pages in running order and a cover PDF as a spread including the spine and wrap around.

Important Requirements:

• Inner page total must be divisible by 4.

• Include 3mm bleed on all sides.

• Maintain a 10mm safe zone on all sides.

• Supply as a CMYK PDF in PDF/X1a format.

• Outline or embed fonts.

• Ensure 300dpi resolution.

• Unprinted (white) endpapers and fly sheets will be inserted when we receive your artwork.
