Yes. Foil Greeting Cards come paired with red or white envelopes.
Foil greeting cards are printed on premium card stocks chosen for quality and finish. Options include heavier 350gsm uncoated or silk papers to support the foil effect.
To get the best foil effect:
File format: Supply a print-ready PDF.
Foil artwork: Foil areas must be on a separate page within your PDF so the press knows exactly where to apply the metallic foil. This page usually consists of the foil layer in 100% black.
Line weight & vector: Designs for foil should use vector graphics where possible and minimum line weight requirements (e.g., 2pt) apply. Very thin or raster artwork might not foil well.
It is advised to not have any alignment critical elements foiled that you wish to align perfectly with printed elements (eg. A foiled balloon that is to align perfectly with a printed string, or a foil shadow to printed text) as there is some movement in production that will result in these elements not aligning exactly.
Yes, if you choose the free “File Check” artwork service, orders are sent directly to production with a 60-point pre-flight, print quality check. You will be notified by email if there are any issues. We can design your work for you at an additional cost, or you can choose “File Assist” where our team will check and correct your artwork prior to printing.
