Substrates Explained

Foamex - An expanded vinyl material. Created by compressing PVC foam to produce rigid, hard-wearing sheets but remaining lightweight. Which makes them perfect for transportable displays for the creative mind or at exhibitions. Easy to drill through for hanging or use double sided tape or Velcro. We recommend lamination for outdoor use.

Dibond - Is a triple-layered material consisting of a flexible polyethylene middle layer sandwiched between two sheets of sleek aluminium and finished with a fine varnish to create a smooth bright finish. An excellent alternative to sheet metals. Sturdy whilst remaining lightweight and easily drilled for hanging.  

Please note: We offer both a gloss and a matt lamination so you can choose the perfect finish depending on your design. Gloss is perfect for vivid imagery that really pops. Matt is great for an elegant, more subdued finish.
