Perfect binding creates a sense of durability and elegance to the look & feel of your booklet. We particularly like these types of publications for magazines, catalogues, or prospectuses because of their ability to withstand handling.  If you are intending to create a publication that you hope will be tactile and easy to flip through, something with a perfect-bound spine will stand up to the task. 

We find that time after time, marketers and print professionals turn to the classic style of perfect bound booklets in a unique size for many projects. If you don't need a bespoke custom-sized booklet, we also have standard sized A4 perfect bound books  or A5 publication printing 

To ensure that you get an elegant, professional, and beautifully crafted perfect-bound booklet, we offer a variety of custom sizes and a wide range of materials for you to choose from.

Select from the options below for catalogue printing, in-house magazine printing, membership magazine printing or your specific type of publication:

• Sizes: Width From 98 to 297 and Height From 125 to 297

• 13 internal paper stocks

• 7 cover paper stocks

• 3 cover laminations

• From 40 to 400 pages

• Minimum order quantity of just 50 booklets

We aim to produce order quantities of 500 and below using our state of the art digital facilities, while larger quantities are produced using our modern litho presses.

Technical Specifications for Custom Sized Perfect Bound Printing

• For Perfect Bound Booklets, please submit artwork as two files.

  • One file is the cover pages, submitted as a spread including the spine.  Please use our spine width calculator to ensure you have the correct spine size.

  • The second file should be the inner pages, submitted with individual pages in running order.

  • For example, for a 40 page brochure, please supply an inner PDF of 36 pages and a cover PDF of two pages – page 1 being the outside cover spread and page 2 being the inside cover spread.

• Booklets must contain a page total divisible by 2.

• It is recommended you do not place words, page numbers or images too close to the edges of each page.  We would recommend a safe zone on all sides of at least 10mm for perfect bound.

• To ensure the best possible finish, please leave the inside spine and 6mm on either side of the spine blank as the glue works better on areas with no print.

• Include 3mm bleed on all sides

• Supply as a CMYK PDF

• Outline or embed fonts

• 300dpi resolution
